Students take part in their first diagnostic sessions of the week - Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Voice.
This week at Nardone’s Academy College, our students took part in their first diagnostic sessions – an important step in understanding their current strengths and planning for growth. These assessments allow our lecturers to tailor training for every individual, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.
Ballet, Jazz & Tap Diagnostics
The day began in the studio with dance diagnostics across Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Students demonstrated their technique and performance quality in each style. These sessions weren’t about being perfect – they were about finding a starting point and setting achievable goals for development. The focus and energy in the studios were outstanding!
Voice Diagnostics – Performing a Monologue
Next, it was time for voice diagnostics through monologue performance. This allowed lecturers to evaluate clarity, projection, and expressive delivery. Students showcased prepared monologues, giving our team an insight into their acting choices, vocal health, and confidence in performance.Â
Why Diagnostics Matter
Diagnostics aren’t about being perfect – they’re about understanding. These sessions give us a clear picture of each student’s abilities, helping us create personalised training plans that support growth in all areas of performance.
We’re so proud of the commitment and professionalism our students showed today. This is just the beginning of an exciting journey, and we can’t wait to see the progress they’ll make!
