A powerful and thought-provoking production not to be missed
We are proud to announce that this year’s Acting & Performance course will present The Effect as their upcoming end-of-year production.
Written by acclaimed playwright Lucy Prebble, The Effect is a bold and thought-provoking piece that explores the complexities of love, psychology, and the human mind. Set within a clinical drug trial, the play challenges both performers and audiences to question what is real, what is felt, and how emotion can be understood.
This production marks an exciting opportunity for our students to engage with contemporary theatre at a high level.
The production will be performed at Traverse Theatre on 11th–12th June 2026.
