Nardone's Academy undergoes first SQA Audit
Nardone's Academy underwent the first SQA Audit for the College and has attained a 'High Excellence' Report.
We achieved high excellence in areas of good practice and that our processes are robust within our Drama School.
Nardone’s Academy College is delighted to announce the success of this week’s two External Verification Inspections on systems and qualifications from the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
We received exceptional feedback stating that our school is showing multiple areas of good practice and was awarded ‘High Excellence” and the green light in ALL areas on both reports with no actions or remediations required!! It was also mentioned that the high standard of teaching and learning is “amicable” and very “professional”.
One said “The Quality is fantastic and you go above and beyond what the requirement is and in my long time working at SQA I have never awarded ‘Good Practice’ to a school who is in their first year of operations, you will be my first. To see in person how organised your organisation is and seeing the relevant policies around your business for example your ‘Appeals Procedure’ for your students and staff is another great example of strong quality assurance. The students I have spoken with has also provided an understanding of their experience and their attitude in studying here and their perception of Nardones is very positive”.
A huge highlight on both reports is the extra support we have put in place in supporting the wellbeing of our students. From third party organisations working with our students on a 1 to 1 and group basis alongside the student representative meetings and our open door policy it is a real credit to our college and the courses we deliver.
We now have the reassurance that what we are providing here at Nardone’s Academy College is of an excellent standard and quality!
What an incredible way to end our first year running our Higher Education Programmes. To the senior management team and to all our staff and associates we did it! What a team! Thank you!
